exploration teams
how they work
All exploration teams start at level one and all members of the guild eventually join one. solo explorers are few and far between because of the dangers of adventuring. teams are made up of a group from 2 to 4 for the basic guild, though after expanding they can add more to their ranks. almost becoming a small guild themselves! exploration teams level up by helping out members of the town and catching bandits that have gotten away from the main arm of the law. each quest has a different point value to work towards leveling up.
ranks
- Rookie rank - the starter rank that all exploration teams start at. it requires no points to get to this rank. each rookie rank team starts with a randomized basic item pack to help them along.
- normal rank - the second rank. it requires 200 points to get to this rank and lets you take on higher ranking missions from the board. you will gain a small bonus towards cash earned from missions.
- bronze rank - the third rank. it requires 640 points to get to this rank and lets you take on higher ranking missions from the board. you will also now be able to take on boss bounties as well. you will gain one gummie for each member of the exploration team of your type.
- silver rank - the fourth rank and usually the stopping point for many exploration teams due to the difficulty they have even reaching this point. it takes 1,500 exploration points to get to this level. there aren't any real special perks to gaining this level other than the ability to take on harder missions.
- gold rank - the fifth rank. people think that if you can reach this rank there is nothing stopping you from moving even further. you need 3,000 points to become golden and at this point you can put in an application for a small team base and you're allowed to add two new junior members to your team. bringing your total up to six members allowed.
- platinum rank - the sixth rank, it requires 3,900 points to get to this level and while it is a milestone the only special perk that comes from it is a TM or hm of your choice per character on your team.
- diamond rank - the seventh rank. it requires 4,500 points to get to this level. when you reach this level you gain an upgrade for your small base which adds one basic utility of your team's choice. we expect you to be diplomatic in your choosing of which one!
- ace rank - the eight rank. it requires 5,000 points to get to this level. you would think that this would unlock some great big thing but... it doesn't. you're allowed to take on special requests now though from the guildmaster themselves so really all you get with this rank is even more work.
- ultra rank - rank number nine and it takes 6,000 points to get here. this one does come with a neat perk and that will be to recruit two more people to your team, making it a maximum of eight members on your team meaning that you can do two missions at once with two teams of four!
- hyper rank - rank number ten. it takes 7,000 points to get here and each member of the team will get one mystery pack of items to help them in their missions! the item packs will be randomized depending on what species each member is to enhance their skills.
