missions
how they benefit you
✬ Missions are a vital part of the economy and society here on Rainbow. Missions are requests from NPC characters to fulfill certain objectives in certain Mystery Dungeons. This can be something as simple as collecting an Apple from Apple Meadow, or as intense as saving someone from Far Away Barrow. However, if you're a Normal Rank team don't expect to get the 5 Star S rank missions right away.
✬ Missions are gated by what Rank you are. Generally, the higher difficulty the mission, the harder it is to complete but also the better rewards it has. Missions start at E Class, which are the simplest, and end at 5 Star S, which are the hardest. Below is a basic guide on when your team can start taking harder Missions. Keep in mind that you can take on Missions UP to your rank, but you can also do Missions below what you can accept; ie, a Grandmaster can still take E Classes, they don't have to just take 5 Star S.
✬ Normally Missions are posted on the Mission Board for any Team to take; Each Mission can also only be done unless stated otherwise. So when its taken, its gone for good! However, if your Team is able to get an Exploration Base of their very own, occasionally you might get letters dropped in your mailbox of Pokemon specifically requesting your help. These Missions tend to have slightly lower rewards, but will offer more points when completed.
✬ Occasionally, very special and rare Missions will pop up that include more than one Mystery Dungeon area and span many Classes. These Missions will require many different teams to complete and for those teams to then come together as allies instead of rivals. These special Missions will spark site wide changes that will further our plot along as well as reward members. It could be something like meeting a Legendary Pokemon to Unlocking a new Mystery Dungeon to explore, or anything else in between.
