gummies
a very special item
✬ Gummies are wondrous candies with magical properties occasionally found or made by Exploration Teams. There are nineteen different flavors, with three different types of each flavor: which means there are a whopping fifty seven types of Gummies all together! Gummies are important to Exploration Teams because, when eaten, they help to unlock the natural potential that each pokemon has!
✬ Gummies are the key to your pokemon learning new moves here on Rainbow Bridge. Each type has its own color of Gummie, as well as the miraculous Rainbow Gummie. When eaten, a Gummie will allow a pokemon to learn a move from its movepool of the type it eats! So, a Charmander could eat a Red Gummie and learn Flamethrower! However, it couldn't learn a move not in its movepool! So, that Charmander could not learn Blaze Kick by eating a Red Gummie, despite it being the same type of Gummie. Below is the list of Gummies, and what type they correspond with!
✬ While there are nineteen types of Gummies, there are also three different variants. These variants correspond to the different movepools that pokemon have- which are Level Up, Tutor, and Egg Moves! If that Charmander from above ate that Red Gummie, it would learn a random move from the Level Up move pool. But, it couldn't learn Flare Blitz with that same Gummie. It would need a special Gummie to learn Flare Blitz since its in the Egg Move pool.
✬ When using Gummies, there are some things to keep in mind. Since you are learning a RANDOM move, that means that staff will use a randomizer to see what move you get! So, you could get that really epic move you wanted from your list, or you could get a really lame one; but that's what makes Gummies so fun in the first place! Also, if you use a Gummie for a move type that your pokemon doesn't have, it won't learn anything and just waste the Gummie! It wouldn't make sense for that Charmander to just eat a Blue Gummie and learn Water Gun, after all!
